Polyus wins auction for another site of Sukhoi Log field

IRKUTSK, Feb 20 (PRIME) -- SL Zoloto LLC, a subsidiary of Russian gold producer Polyus, has won an auction for geologic exploration and production of alluvial gold at the Ruchei Sukhoi Log (Sukhoi Log creek) site in the Irkutsk Region, as seen by PRIME in the auction’s materials on Saturday.

The company outbid JSC Svetly, part of Polyus’ subsidiary Lenzoloto, by offering 11.214 million rubles for the site.

Booked reserves of gold of the site amount to 122 kilograms under the C1 category and 102 kilograms under the C2 category, while off-balance reserves amount to 23 kilograms under the C1 category with potential resources stand at 9.4 kilograms.
